If you are on this page, then I am pretty sure that you know what Fiverr is and how it works. Fiverr is a freelancing website and it is a bit different than other websites. You can list down your services on your profile and wait for someone to hire you.

These services are also called Gigs in Fiverr language. Gigs can start from 5$ and go up to any amount. You can add additional services to the base gig and charge more for these additional works.

You can choose from a lot of different categories in Fiverr. Here are the lists of all gigs that you can offer.

Payments are sent in USD. Once you cross the minimum threshold, you can go to your profile and request a withdrawal. Payments are sent two times a week, Wednesday and Sunday.

Freelancer is another website where you can start from today. This is a freelancing website and you can choose from thousands of different jobs. You can find jobs in copywriting, graphics designing, development etc. There are a lot of opportunities for you to earn.

As a beginner, it is a bit hard to get the first job. But, you can increase this chance by creating one portfolio of your past works.

The hard part is to get selected for Upwork. They have a screening process after you sign up on their website. You can start applying for jobs only after the screening is completed. They try to keep the spammers away and that makes them reliable to clients.

Guru is another freelancing website that you can consider as a Fiverr alternative. It is popular to get jobs in programming, designing, writing and translation, sales and marketing, business and finance etc.

Even without login, you can search their job board. The onboarding process is also fast. It will take less than a minute to create your account.

Peopleperhour:

peopleperhour is a UK-based freelance website. You will find clients from all over the world with different types of projects.

They have a review process and your application is reviewed and needs to be approved by their moderation team before you can send job proposals. It is easier to pass the review process as compared to Upwork. Once the review process is done, you can create your own profile with your past work portfolio and start applying for jobs.

Peopleperhour uses credit system. You will get 15 credits for free per month to apply for jobs. One proposal is for 1 credit. If you want to apply for more projects, you need to buy more credits.

The invoiceng process is smooth in Peopleperhour. Funds are kept in an escrow account. Once the project is done, it automatically creates the invoice. You can edit the amount if you don’t want to get paid the full amount it calculated and send it to the client. Once it is confirmed from the client, you will get the money in your peopleperhour account. You can withdraw it to your own bank account.

Most of these sites uses rating system. It means, client will give you a review and rating after the work is done. This will remain visible to other future clients as well.
